Over 50 families joined us this morning for an engaging and informative Digital Safety session led by Dr Deborah Webster from Thrive Academy. Deborah shared some of the challenges and opportunities children face online, while sharing practical advice on how to support safe and responsible technology use at home.

We are delighted to be continuing our partnership with Deborah as our P5 and P6 pupils take part in a series of digital safety workshops. These sessions will help children develop the knowledge, confidence and skills they need to navigate the online world safely and responsibly.

A huge thank you to Dr Deborah Webster for sharing her expertise with our school community and to all the families who attended and engaged so positively in this important conversation.

We were delighted to welcome back Dr Deborah Webster, founder of Thrive Academy, to St Patrick’s Academy today. Deborah led an engaging workshop with Year 8 pupils, focusing on the dangers of social media and the importance of maintaining a safe and responsible online presence to strengthen digital resilience.
Deborah will return in January to deliver talks to students across all Key Stages, exploring the impact, risks and safe use of social media and online conduct. These sessions will be aimed to support pupils in developing their digital safety and resilience.
