First little job on the vertical lathe. Being Cnc we can put the radius on the outside when finished.

Over the last few months we’ve been repeatedly asked to make nuts and bolts from hexagon bar.
So I’ve made the decision to now supply everything from hex.
There may be some issues with material and correct size of the stock but I’m sure this won’t bother the rivet counters out there.
We will also be supplying nuts with two threads in each size. For example. We can cut an M20 thread along with a 3/4” bsw thread in the same nut. This will allow customers the choose of using metric threads on their projects.

Been a busy few month on nuts and bolts.
Lots of people restoring projects over the winter and getting ready for show season.

We’ve got plenty of true Pre-War nuts and bolts in stock. All made in house from round bar.
We can assure correct hex sizes and materials used for all.

We get asked frequently why do we machine all our nuts from round bar.
The main reason is hex bar is inconsistent in size and material spec. Most hex bar in mild steel is only available in En1a. It’s great if you’re only holding two pieces of cheese together.

All of our stock studs are made from certified En3b. Non stock items are always being made from any materials customers require.
