Tiverton Museum is home to a full-size Great Western Railway steam locomotive known locally as the “Tivvy Bumper”.
Locomotive No. 1442 once carried passengers along the local branch line and is now the largest object in the museum’s collection. It is one of the many reminders of Tiverton’s fascinating transport and industrial history.
