The 3 comfortable Guest Bedrooms are all on the ground floor overlooking the garden. There is a colourful Patio and Courtyard for guests to enjoy and a guests' Sitting Room with brochures, maps and local information to help plan the day ahead. Robert Lorimer designed the house for the Sharp family. He also designed the landscaped the gardens with formal lawns, yew hedging, flowering borders and a sunken rose garden.

Pillars of Hercules is an Organic Farm with a Farm Shop and a cafe.A variety of vegetables and flowers are grown on 24 acres on the corner of the Falkland Estate- KY15 7AD near Strathmiglo in Fife. The Shop & Cafe open every day.
Well worth a visit if you are in the area.
There are wonderful trails on the Falkland Estate and the Lomond Hills are nearby for walkers - enjoy the wonderful views as you go from East to West Lomond.
In the historic Conservation village of Falkland you can visit the Palace with its Royal Tennis Court, orchard and lovely gardens from 1st March through to 31st October .

There is a new Park & Ride at Halbeath - Dunfermline - it is very large - on one level and beautifully laid out with a fine inside waiting area.

Leave the M90 at Junction 3, motor east on A92 for approx 500 yds
It is signposted.Timetables are available there and helpful staff to guide you.

There are also buses to Edinburgh Airport which call in at Inverkeithing & Ferry Toll then on to the Airport.

Easter weekend!
At last the weather has improved and our guests have enjoyed visiting several National Trust Properties in Fife. To-day they have gone to see Scone Palace, near Perth and they hope to have a walk in the lovely grounds.
