Holistic therapists often have so many skills that they try to explain everything at once. The trouble is, a potential client may not know where to start. Clear marketing does not mean you can only offer one thing. It means you lead with the problem your client recognises and the outcome they want. Business isn't always productive - are you doing the things that actually bring clients in? - sometimes it is just productive faffing.

It is very easy to spend hours tweaking a website, changing fonts, making another leaflet or rewriting a treatment description. Those jobs feel useful because they are safe and familiar. But if they are not helping people find you, trust you and book with you, they may be keeping you busy rather than moving you forward. This week, choose one simple client-attracting action: post something helpful, contact a past client, share your free guide or make your offer clear. Small, focused steps beat endless faffing.

When I look back over my years as a therapist, I can see that I definitely went through a phase of offering all sorts.

At the time it made complete sense. I loved learning and I wanted to help people.

But over time, I realised that simplifying my therapy business made everything feel clearer - for me and for my clients.

Holistic Therapists - Too Many Therapies?

Many holistic therapists genuinely love learning and helping people in lots of different ways.

I completely understand that because I did exactly the same thing myself over the years.

But sometimes offering too many therapies can accidentally make your marketing feel confusing - both for potential clients and for you.

Clear marketing doesn’t mean you can only offer one thing.

Maybe it needs:

more clarity
more consistency
simpler messaging
regular visibility

A simple business that people understand will usually do better than a complicated one that confuses people.

Simple scales.
Simple sells.
Simple feels calmer too.
