They’re unresponsive and not breathing normally.

Would you feel confident enough to step forward and help?

In an emergency, those first few minutes really do matter. Knowing how to recognise cardiac arrest, call for help, start CPR and use an AED can give someone the best possible chance while the emergency services are on their way.

That’s why we believe First Aid training should be practical, engaging and confidence-building – not simply about getting a certificate.

Today, 29th September, is World Heart Day – a global day dedicated to raising awareness of cardiovascular disease (CVD) and encouraging us all to think about our heart health.
Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death worldwide and includes conditions af-fecting the heart and blood vessels, such as heart disease and stroke.

Knowing how to recognise when someone is seriously unwell – and having the confidence and skills to act – can make a real difference.

At Emergency Response Training, our First Aid courses give people practical, hands-on ex-perience in responding to emergencies, including:

❤️ Recognising a casualty who is unresponsive and not breathing normally
❤️ Performing effective CPR
❤️ Using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
❤️ Recognising the signs and symptoms of a heart attack
❤️ Recognising the signs of a stroke
❤️ Knowing when and how to call for emergency help

From our dedicated CPR & Defibrillator training to Emergency First Aid at Work and First Aid at Work, we provide practical training designed to give people the knowledge and confidence to respond when it really matters.
