KPM-Marine Predator Rescue Pack - PORTABLE SYSTEM - for a wide range of applications, from commercial workboats to military vehicles.

The Emergency 500 Pump has been developed for residual and mass removal of bilge water, boundary cooling fire fighting or deck washing. The Predator Pump is IP68 and fully waterproof to 15 metres. It is designed to be fully serviceable and has been tested for 5 days continuous running. The pump and motor have been tested under dry conditions for 24 hours without damage to the pump or components.

KPM recognize that pumping capability is only as good as the ability to protect the pump from damage and blockages caused by floating debris. The robust aluminium carry case provides the dual function of filter box with cleanable filters.

KPM has developed a high capacity Lithium Ion battery pack for situations where these is no available power supply. Available in 50Ah or 100Ah with two outputs to power the KPM pump and a light simultaneously, or two KPM flood lights.

On one charge the portable Predator power pack can pump 32,000 litres with 50 Ah or 64,000 litres with 100Ah to 3 metre head through a 10 metre hose.

The KPM battery condition app is an additional option for remote operation. This enables operators to monitor the amount of charge remaining in the battery via Bluetooth on a telephone or tablet. 5 battery packs can be monitored on one app.

KPM-Marine Crew 100 Suspension Seat is fully crash tested and type approved to HSC Code Annex 10 with DNV. All swivels, sliders and pedestal are crash tested and fully type approved. The Crew 100 is designed to give crew and passengers a wide fitting seat and room to move whilst wearing personal safety equipment whilst in transit.

The KPM Crew 100 is a full size seat suitable for all wheelhouse and crew seating applications. Significant weight savings are achieved by utilising a monocoque seat structure.

The key elements of KPM seat testing and safety are a double acting suspension system that absorbs energy in one direction when hitting waves and in the opposite direction during crash impact. The low overall seat / suspension weight reduces the dynamic force upon impact. The monocoque aluminium seat structure is designed to be compliant and absorb energy by utilising crumple zones which bend upon rear impact and absorb energy.

KPM marine can provide the complete tested system including pedestal and floor fixings as specified by Annex 10. Features include seat tilt, weight adjustment, 4 point harness restraint, adjustable armrests and waterproof breathable fabric.

SEAir has expertise in foiling sailing yachts and power boats. SEAir makes alterations to existing boats and also designs the boats of the future, alone or in partnership with boat builders. Professional applications include fast passenger transport and specialist military platforms.

SEAir’s founding idea is that hydrofoil technology should not remain the preserve of seasoned skippers, but be made more mainstream. The company offers studies for boats from 8m to over 30m and has developed a range of ‘Flying Boats’ from 8m to 10m.

SEAir has designed a digital simulator VPP (Velocity Prediction Program) with which it can configure any type of foiling boat. SEAir team expertise guarantees optimal sizing of the foils profile and structure. Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is used to validate the structural features of vessels and subsystems. Modelling of Fluid / Structure Interactions (FSI) is carried out to validate the flows and behaviour of boats.

Based in Lorient France, a region on the Atlantic coast with a long sea going heritage, SEAir is proud to be recognised as the leading maritime company in Brittany and, according to Forbes magazine, the 18th in France in terms of innovation.

Dyena VIMMS is a Vessel Impact & Motion Monitoring System that provides a complete VESSEL & CREW health monitoring solution.

The VIMMS display interface provides real-time feedback to the operator on personnel and vessel exposure levels and how close they are to operational limits. Shock and vibration data collection enables continuous live monitoring of assets.

VIMMS can be configured to monitor acceleration exposure during operations to critical components including hull, power, propulsion and electronics.

The display interface can be customised to individual requirements including general arrangements for particular vessels or assets. The low profile daylight readable display is dimmable for night operations. Thresholds and limits are customisable with split screen for personnel and vessel exposure. The system can aid program managers in managing and extending the health and condition of both personnel and maritime assets.

Developed in conjunction with shock mitigating seat manufacturer Shockwave, autonomous seat sensing and tracking automatically logs each individual’s time and exposure in their seat. VIMMS monitors an individual’s impact exposure, informing in real time if they are approaching limit thresholds. VIMMS constantly samples the damping response relative to the occupant and determines if the seat is appropriately configured and operating correctly. Adjustment or servicing can be performed before serious injury occurs.

01/06/2021

SEAir Retractable 2 Foil System is designed to enable a boat equipped with one engine to develop lift and foil. The two main ‘hydrofoils’ are installed near the centre of the vessel and can be designed to retract inside the console. The shape of the foils is designed to be very close to the tube when retracted. A third hydrofoil is fixed on the engine.

This patented SEAir concept enables beaching, docking and trailer towing without damage to the foils. Hydrofoil design is crucial to the success of getting a boat airborne and keeping it flying safely in a range of sea conditions. SEAir design team expertise provides optimal sizing of the foils, along with the profile and structure.

SEAir foiling systems are designed to be safe and predictable. By using engine trim the boat driver optimises fore and aft stability of the boat.

As each boat is unique no foiling system is ‘plug and play’. If a boat builder wants to add foils onto an existing boat, a study is required to define structure reinforcements and depending on the centre of gravity the optimum location of main hydrofoils.

SEAir foiling system design service utilises many years of expertise in foiling power boats and sailing yachts. In partnership with boat builders, SEAir can assist with alterations to existing boats or contribute to the design of new foiling boats from 7 metre to over 30 metre.
