Yew, Oak, Sweet Chestnut, Sycamore, Spalted and clear Beech all added to the sawmill shop this week.

Loads of cheap Oak slabs and craft pieces added to the off cut and reject shed. There are some cool mini slabs and a couple about the size of James martins cutting board for 20 quid.

Kiln dried timber and specialist firewood also available

Loads of hardwood slabs and boards added to the rejects and seconds this week, as cheap as £2.50, average about £25, the odd freebie. Undried and ungraded but very cheap option for drying yourself or for purposes where drying isn't critical.

These boards are rejected for our drying process usually due to not being the right thickness, or they could have a rot pocket, splits or too much waney edge, card facilities on site, prices plus vat. Appointment only to collect from sawmill in Comrie near Oakley, Dunfermline. Hours are 8 to 6 Monday to Saturday

Mini Sycamore slab added to the shop. It has flame, spalting, burr and a strange yellow figure in it. Zoom in on the sticker for dimensions and price.

Really rare Yew slab added to the shop today. 500mm wide and 45mm thick. You never find Yew timber this big.
