Cool sign for a new business in Crieff made from logs produced by our own contracting operations. Our timber is milled, dried and machined at our sawmill in Fife, Scotland.

Out splitting tree surgery waste with the self powered, road tow AMR splitter. In no time it created a big pile of valuable firewood from a load of rough looking tree surgery waste.

Our full industrial firewood processor set up being loaded up for homeward transport with Wilson Haulage. The processor, log deck and AMR splitter for the oversize has been out on hire in Perth with a large estate customer. They used the equipment to process knocking on 100 cubic metres of firewood logs in a week from their own windblown, forestry and tree trimmings. They had this to pass on.

Wood turning blanks added to the stock today, we currently have Sycamore, Elm, Oak, Ash, Chestnut (both types), Yew and spalted Beech in a mix of sizes.

Choice of kiln dried, air dried and fresh cut, wax sealed, from £5 to about £20 each.

Like a sign but not a sign. Deep engraved window sills with a duck illustration to match the house theme. The engraving was then filled with black resin for a durable smooth surface, sanded back and sealed with satin lacquer. We can make and personalise almost anything you can think of, from cutting boards, signs and plaques to building materials like lintels, sills and mantels.

All material is from our own locally harvested hardwood which you can choose from our stock at the sawmill in Fife, Scotland

Sycamore slabs, boards and small craft blanks added to the Kingdom Sawmill shop today. Sycamore is light and strong, ideal for floating shelves and rustic furniture. For a quality hardwood it is also one of the most affordable species. This batch is from a dense old tree we milled about 5 years ago, the slabs have been kiln dried so ideal for any indoor purpose.

This is a deep carved painted sign we made this week. This one was a custom job for a customer who needed a double house sign with engraved illustrations. It's made from a biscuit jointed, glued up Oak panel. It's then CNC carved and painted with ebonising lacquer and finished with 3 coats of satin lacquer.
