On our nursery page today Saffrons Park Nursery, we have written a post about one of our favourite resources.

🏝️ Sand 🏝️

We love sand and we wanted to share some of our set ups and ideas for you to try at home or in your settings.

🧡Early Years Educators:
Try and create a large scale sand area in one of your environments. If you do this outside then think about the best way to keep it covered at night. Why not try creating a contained space and putting the sand straight on the floor? We do this with all age children.

🧡Parents:
Why not try a small tray of sand and add some every day items that will encourage your child to scoop, fill, empty and pour, such as spoons, cups, etc. Maybe have a look and see what is in your recycing; egg boxes, empty herb jars, plastic fruit tubs, yoghurt pots etc - all of these items are great to use in the sand.

We are so excited to be launching our waiting list for our new parent membership.

We have been wanting to launch this project for a while now and we are all so excited that the time has come.

Are you are parent of a child/ren aged 0-5 years? Are you currently expecting? Then this membership could be for you.

🧡 We understand, as parents, the overwhelming feel of returning to work and balancing busy days and parenting. We understand how much information overload the internet gives you and so we want to make life easier for you.

🧡 We are dedicated to building a community, where we are all working towards the same goal -'creating the thinkers of tomorrow.'

🧡 Our membership will give you a community of like minded parents, as well as a library of resources on all things that matter and are important to us as parents and practitioners. Each month you will have access to brand new content and ideas. You will have access to things that make your life easier such as menu ideas, recipes, nutrition advice, weaning advice, support with sleep and behaviour, communication and play, the list goes on- all in one place.

🧡Alongside this, you will be able to attend any of our monthly workshops to gain support and advice from the experts. (These will be over a range of different times and days to make it easier for you all).

This membership is for all parents - you do not have to be attending our setting to sign up
