🐾 Where my pet embroidery journey began… 🐾

This is Khaleesi … my brother’s beautiful girl, and the very first pet embroidery I ever made. ❤️

Looking back at it now, I can see how much I’ve learnt and how far my embroidery has come since then… but this one will always have a special place in my heart.

Sadly, Khaleesi is no longer with us, which makes this piece even more precious. There’s something really special about being able to turn a beloved pet into something you can keep forever - a little reminder of the personality, the face and the memories that never really leave you. 🐾🤍

And to think… this was the one that started it all.

Now I get to create those little pieces of memories for other people and their beloved pets too. 🥹🐶🐱

Pet embroidery isn’t just embroidery. Sometimes, it’s a memory you can hold onto forever. ❤️

I do love having a laugh with my customers, but THIS one absolutely finished me 🤣🤣

Royal Mail really emailed her like…

“Hi Becky Wecky 👋🏼” 😂😂

Not sure whether she’s receiving a parcel or being personally welcomed into the Royal Mail family 🤣

But hey… at least Becky Wecky knows her parcel is officially on its way! 📦😂

Honestly, I can’t cope. 🤣🤣

There’s SO much more to embroidery than just putting an item in a machine and pressing start! 😂

It’s all the prep beforehand … getting the design positioned, making sure everything is straight, hooped properly and lined up exactly where it needs to be.

Then, when the machine finally stops, the job isn’t over! There’s the aftercare… checking every stitch, trimming threads, making sure everything is tight, neat and looking bloody lovely. 😂

So yeah… ask me about my day. 😴😂🧵
