It's a little past 9am today, and I just woke up because I'm on vacation in London.

I check on my staff in my factory and stores, and I check on my website backend too.

We've already done over 150K in sales, and I didn't have to do anything to make it happen. I Didn't open any DMs, didn't follow up with any "I'll get back to you", I didn't pray or stress, I just saw money rolling in.

Mind you, these are all paid upfront, no cash on delivery.

A lot of the time, we hear of how to compete on business, and this is a list of ways NOT to compete.

1. Pricing; don't run promotions just because your competitors are doing it. Promotions should be run only as part of a well thought out, long-term strategy that includes price planning with this in mind. Cutting your prices just to make sales for a moment will lead to losses and can communicate to customers that your regular pricing is dishonest.

2. Trend Copying; Don't start dancing on your posts just because it is trending.. authenticity is part of what sets you apart as a brand, and jumping on trends needs to be done carefully to ensure that they align with your brand ethos and image.

3. Baiting Controversy; While this has worked for some to give them quick popularity, the long-term effects are usually horrible. At the end of the day, a good reputation is the most valuable thing you can have as a brand.
