Ever felt like you’re having to break off little pieces of yourself just to fit in?

That square peg, round hole feeling…
Or worse — the star with its sparkly points snapped off, just to squeeze into a box that was never made for you.

If you’re neurodivergent (or just wired a bit differently), you’ll know this feeling all too well.

But here’s the thing:
You were never meant to fit the box. You were meant to shine.

The right support doesn’t ask you to mask or shrink. It gives you space to breathe, reflect and find your way of leading — with all your strengths intact.

If this resonates, I’d love to hold that space for you.
Drop me a message if you’d like to explore what that could look like, no pressure, just a conversation.

You deserve to lead well and feel well. ⭐

Some big news…
I’m so excited to share that I’ll be stepping into a new fractional role as Head of Research & Policy at ADHD 360 from next week!

It follows the incredible work we did together earlier this year on The ADHD Crisis in the UK: A Call to Action – a report I co-authored, exploring the true cost of untreated ADHD. It was shaped by lived experience, backed by data and insight, and aimed at driving real change across the UK. You can read it and watch the webinar via ADHD360 Website.

This time last year, I’d just left the NHS after nearly 20 years. Redundancy hit hard – but it also opened the door to something new.

Since then, I’ve co-founded Loop Dynamics Group, grown it alongside an incredible Co-Founder & business partner and found my feet as a neurodivergent Business Owner doing work that feels truly aligned.

I am so grateful to the CEO at ADHD360 for trusting me with this role – to the ex-colleagues, peers and friends that have offered opportunities, support and guidance - and finally, to my incredible family for being the quiet (but constant) cheer squad behind the scenes.

Being diagnosed later in life with ADHD has brought so much clarity… and this next chapter just feels right. The dots are finally connecting.

I’m excited to see what the future holds!

🦸🏼‍♀️ International Women’s Day and ADHD 🧠

Earlier this week marked five years since I lost my mum. A moment that always brings reflection—not just on her absence, but on everything she gave me. She worked tirelessly to create opportunities for me and my sister, ones she never had herself. That determination, that resilience, is something I carry with me every day.

Last night, I had the privilege of speaking on an ADHD 360 panel with Phil Anderton, discussing the ADHD Crisis in the UK. As a late-diagnosed ADHD woman, it was an important moment for me —one that made me think about how different things might have been if women like me were recognised sooner. ADHD isn’t just a “male” condition, yet so many women go through life never understanding why things feel harder, why they’re constantly pushing through exhaustion, why they feel like they’re “too much” and “not enough” all at once.

Now, as a mother to both a daughter and a son, I think about the impact of awareness—not just for women but for everyone. Because real progress means recognising that no one should have to struggle in silence, that the way we support people should reflect their reality, not outdated assumptions.

So today, ahead of International Women’s Day, I’m celebrating the women who fought for more, the men who have faced their own unseen battles, and the next generation—who deserve a world where everyone has the chance to feel seen and to achieve their own version of success.

Here’s to progress, visibility, and the people who shape us—even when they’re no longer here 🕊️

Really excited to be joining Phil Anderton, CEO of ADHD 360, on the panel of this FREE webinar on Thursday 6 March at 6:30pm to discuss the hidden costs of not treating ADHD.

We’ll be diving into key findings from “The ADHD Crisis in the UK – A Call to Action”, a report commissioned by ADHD360 and prepared by Loop Dynamics Group Ltd | Natasha Scott Coaching & Consulting. The numbers and the lived experience case studies speak for themselves—early diagnosis and intervention aren’t just life-changing, they’re economically vital.

Join us for this important conversation

Join ADHD 360 CEO, Phil Anderton, PhD, as he hosts our upcoming FREE webinar ‘The Hidden Costs of Not Treating ADHD: Giving Patients THE Argument to Get the Care They Deserve’ on Thursday 6 March at 6:30pm.

In this session, we will delve into the key findings of “The ADHD Crisis in the UK – A Call to Action,” commissioned by ADHD 360 and prepared by Loop Dynamics Group Ltd. The report outlines the profound economic and social consequences of untreated ADHD, while emphasising the transformative benefits of early diagnosis and intervention.

Key findings of the report included:
✔️ Undiagnosed ADHD costs the UK economy billions through annual household losses of £6,500-£11,200.
✔️ The cost of NHS expenditure treating co-morbid conditions could reach £1.33bn-£5.78bn over a decade.
✔️ For every £1 invested in ADHD diagnosis and treatment, a 16 x ROI could be achieved per patient over 10 years, equating to a total potential saving of £1.92 billion (based on 15,000 patients annually).

ADHD & Imposter Syndrome: The Hidden Struggle No One Talks About

Ever felt like a fraud? Like you’ve somehow tricked people into thinking you’re more capable than you really are?

If you have ADHD, this feeling isn’t just occasional – it can be constant.

Imposter syndrome tells us that we don’t deserve our success. That we’ve just been lucky, that we’re about to be “found out,” that we’re only just keeping up. And for ADHDers, this feeling is amplified.

⚡ Why? Because our brains work differently.
〰️ We struggle with consistency, so success can feel like a fluke.
〰️ We replay past failures more than we acknowledge our achievements.
〰️ We’ve spent years masking – pretending to be “on top of things” – so we feel like we’re faking it.
〰️ And we’re constantly measuring ourselves against neurotypical standards that were never designed for us.

For women with ADHD, the struggle runs even deeper.

Many of us weren’t diagnosed until adulthood. We spent years thinking we just needed to “try harder,” be “more organised,” or just be “better.”

Even when we succeed, we downplay it:
✨ It wasn’t that hard.
✨ Anyone could have done it.
✨ I just got lucky.

Sound familiar?

Here’s the truth:

🚀 You’re NOT an imposter.
🚀 Your brain just works differently in a world that wasn’t built for it.
🚀 Your creativity, hyper-focus, resilience, and adaptability are strengths.
🚀 Your success is real. And you earned it.

So what helps?

✔ Name it. Recognise when imposter syndrome is showing up.
✔ Track wins. Keep a record of your achievements – big or small.
✔ Reframe your thoughts. You didn’t just get lucky. You worked for it.
✔ Find the right people. Surround yourself with those who see your value.
✔ Work with a coach who specialises in ADHD

🎤 Let’s talk. Have you felt this intersection of ADHD and imposter syndrome? How do you remind yourself that you’re capable? Drop your thoughts in the comments! ⬇️

🌍 End of ADHD Awareness Month: The Crisis Continues 🌍

As ADHD Awareness Month wraps up, the urgency for action has never been clearer. The UK faces a true ADHD crisis. Waiting lists for assessments stretch years long, and thousands who sought private or Right to Choose diagnoses are now facing challenges with GPs over treatment access. Many are having their diagnoses questioned or medications denied, leaving them unsupported and vulnerable.

🔸 ADHD is now the most common referral to CAMHS – with wait times regularly over a year (NHS Digital, 2022).
🔸 Adults can wait up to 7 years for NHS assessments (BBC News, 2023).
🔸 When medication is cut off or delayed, it can lead to serious mental health risks like anxiety, depression, and even self-harm (Royal College of Psychiatrists, 2023).
🔸 Untreated ADHD costs billions in lost productivity and healthcare expenses each year (Institute for Public Policy Research, 2021).

So, why are GPs still hesitating to prescribe for privately diagnosed individuals? Guidance from NICE (NG87) recommends that GPs take part in shared care agreements to help maintain ongoing support once ADHD medications are stabilised. However, this is inconsistently applied across the UK, with many regions still falling short (NICE Guideline NG87).

We fully support the important work of the national ADHD task force to address these issues, but awareness and advocacy are still crucial for long-term change.

📢 Ways You Can Help:

1️⃣ Share this post – raising awareness is the first step.
2️⃣ Contact your MP – ask them to push for equal ADHD support across all pathways.
3️⃣ Support ADHD Organisations – engage with groups working to improve resources and advocate for better pathways.
4️⃣ Educate and Advocate – challenge misconceptions around ADHD, and promote understanding.

Together, we can help build an equitable healthcare system that truly supports the ADHD community. Let’s keep the momentum going!

🧠 ADHD Awareness Month 🧠
Ever shared your ADHD diagnosis, or self-diagnosis, and heard things like, “everyone’s a bit ADHD” or “why do we need to label everything?” Sound familiar? This narrative can be genuinely harmful, here’s why:

Let’s talk about why “everyone’s a bit ADHD” and “we don’t need labels” can actually be harmful for those who are neurodivergent.

1️⃣ Recognition Matters
ADHD isn’t just “being distracted.” It’s a neurodevelopmental condition that affects daily functioning and quality of life. Dismissing it as something “everyone has” minimises the real struggles and the relief that comes from finally understanding those challenges.

2️⃣ Barriers to Support
Ignoring ADHD symptoms delays diagnosis and access to support. This impacts everything from academic performance to mental health. The sooner someone gets support, the better their outcomes.

3️⃣ Self-Diagnosis is Valid
Self-diagnosis is often necessary when people face long waiting lists and limited access to assessments. Many people connect with ADHD communities, research, and realise they’re not alone, but they’re still left without timely help.

4️⃣ Labels Help, Not Hinder
Labels provide clarity, self-compassion, and access to resources—not boxes. Identifying as neurodivergent can open doors to understanding, support, and treatment.

5️⃣ Mental Health Risks
ADHD and neurodivergence often come with higher risks of anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem due to years of feeling “different.” Brushing it off as “no big deal” only adds to this stigma.

Let’s move past harmful myths. ADHD and neurodivergence deserve respect, understanding, and the right support.

✨ ADHD Awareness Month ✨

Access to Work: Get access to funding to support your ADHD!

Did you know that if you’re neurodivergent, you may be eligible for workplace support through the UK’s Access to Work scheme?

For many neurodiverse individuals—whether you’re managing ADHD, autism, or other cognitive differences—workplace challenges can feel overwhelming. Access to Work offers grants to help make adjustments, allowing you to thrive professionally.

Here’s the breakdown:

🧑‍💼 Who qualifies?
Anyone with a disability or long-term health condition (including neurodivergence) affecting their ability to work.

💰 What’s covered?
Funding for specialist ADHD coaching, assistive tech, transport, and other tailored solutions like flexible hours or quieter workspaces to help you perform at your best.

📝 How to apply:
Fill out a simple application on the government site. Your employer can help implement the adjustments. Fast-track options may be available for those starting a new job or business!

🏋️‍♀️ Why it’s a game-changer for ADHD:
ADHD coaching (often funded through Access to Work) can help you manage tasks, emotional regulation, and productivity, empowering you to work with your brain rather than against it.

🌟 Follow-up support:
Access to Work isn’t a one-time fix. You can apply for ongoing support as your needs change.

🧠 Mental health help too:
Support is also available for mental health conditions like anxiety or stress, often linked with ADHD.

Thanks to at for helping me secure my own funding—it made a world of difference!

✨ October is ADHD Awareness Month! ✨

Whether you’re newly diagnosed, have lived with ADHD your whole life, or are just curious, this month is all about shining a light on what ADHD really means.

I’ve had the privilege of training with the brilliant Leanne Maskell at ADHD Works which has not only expanded my understanding of ADHD but has also deepened my executive coaching practice. This training has enabled me to better support my clients in leveraging their neurodivergence as a strength in both personal and professional settings.

Here are some quick facts that might surprise you:

🧠 ADHD has only been recognised in UK adults since 2008, but it’s a lifelong condition.
📈 There’s been a 400% increase in adults seeking ADHD assessments since 2020.
👧 Girls with ADHD are often misdiagnosed with anxiety or depression before ADHD is considered.
🤯 70% of people with ADHD also show traits of Autism.
🚸 Children with ADHD are 100x more likely to be excluded from school.
💔 1 in 4 women with ADHD have attempted su***de due to undiagnosed or untreated symptoms.
⏳ NHS waiting lists for ADHD assessments can be as long as 10 years.
💼 ADHDers are 3x more likely to start their own business, using creativity and hyperfocus as strengths.
🔍 Girls’ symptoms often look different, such as daydreaming, being hyper-organised, people pleasing, so they’re often overlooked.
🚀 ADHD isn’t just about hyperactivity – it’s an executive function challenge, affecting focus, planning, and time management.

While awareness is growing, it doesn’t always lead to:
❌ Action
❌ Accommodations
❌ Access to support

✨ It’s time to reframe how ADHD is perceived and recognise the strengths of neurodivergent thinking!

Looking for personalised ADHD support or executive coaching? I offer Executive & ADHD Coaching to help you learn how to work with your brain or against it and for ADHD Awareness Month, I’m also offering a special discount!
