💬 1. Introduction of the Essex Community Hub
A dedicated, town‑by‑town space for locals to ask questions, share updates, post alerts, run polls and chat with others across the county.

🎁 2. New Earn & Rewards System
Users can now refer businesses and other users to earn:
• FREE Enhanced Listings
• FREE Marketplace Credits
…with more rewards coming soon.

👀 3. Live Activity Social Proof Across the Site
We’ve added real‑time indicators like:
“Alex just listed their business”
“Nick added an event”
Creating a more vibrant and transparent experience.

🧭 4. New User Onboarding Checklist
An 8‑step “Get Started” guide inside the dashboard to help new users get the most out of Discover Essex straight away.

🆓 5. Big Improvements to Free Listings
All free listings now include:
• 2,500‑character descriptions (minimum)
• Up to 10 event listings included for every user
This gives everyone more space to tell their story.

📟 6. Dashboard Overhaul + Notification Controls
Users can now setup and manage alerts for:
• New businesses in their town
• New events nearby
• Updates in categories they care about
Much more personalised and useful.

🔍 7. Saved Searches + Alerts
If you care about specific categories (e.g., “Car Dealerships”), you can now save searches and get notified the moment something new is added.

✔️ 8. Business Verification (Blue Tick)
Businesses can now apply to get verified by Discover Essex, helping build more trust across the platform.
