Have you ever considered using yoga as a means of managing any anxiety you might experience or perhaps to help if you're having difficulty with sleeping?

Whether you actively practice yoga or would like to start, there are some very easy techniques to add to your existing strategies for managing sleeplessness or anxiety. Often we need a varied approach to crack a challenge and yoga is a lovely activity at all ages helping with wellbeing, immunity, flexibility and the list goes on!

As restrictions are set to ease towards the end of June in England, for many, this also means a return to the workplace is on the cards following perhaps a long period of furlough or working at home.

This may mean a considerable adjustment for some after such a prolonged stretch of time. If this is you, or you're feeling some anxiety, if you have some time to listen to our wellness panel Q&A, listen out for some useful tips on nutrition, fitness, mental health, resilience and holistic wellbeing. In June, with the possible further easing of restrictions in the U.K., many people may either be returning to the workplace for the first time for many months, or leaving their home offices to move to a full or hybrid home/office arrangement for the first time in perhaps over a year.

You may be chomping at the bit or may have concerns relating to aspects of your physical or mental wellbeing. Offline, weโ€™ll be holding a Q&A session based on your questions with our expert wellness panel, to share tips and thoughts about how best to prepare.

You may already have seen some of their videos on yoga, fitness, nutrition, resilience, mental health etc here on the lifestyle page.

A lovely walk in the rain in the heart of the beautiful Cotswolds.

A hidden Roman villa with a beautiful mosaic floor, an old water mill that has long since stopped turning, disused buildings with beautiful potential - so glad to have made the effort despite the continuing wet spell.

Thereโ€™s something about the smells that come to the fore after and during rainfall. Wet soil or fresh garlic were the ones that stood out to me today. And colours like the greens in these pictures just seem more vivid when itโ€™s raining.

A little contrast for Friday, on the left we have an upturned wok, repurposed to keep the squirrels from eating the bird food. Clearly this ingenious solution is to preserve the bird haven in this garden. And on the right we have a coastal picture, feisty clouds, rolling green hills and a hint of the sea. Wherever you are, I hope you are able to enjoy a view or be in your favourite space, connected to nature in some way.
