Another successful wrapped up – and as we all depart, some time to reflect on what a week it’s been for us as Meet Devon South West England Limited

Valuable conversations with association and corporate planners, incentive buyers looking for fresh and innovative ideas - just one highlight for incentives, being the “Prisoner Experience’ at The Bodmin Jail Hotel; there was even some unexpected FIT interest have made this a standout event.

The growing interest around and was clear, and we’re grateful to the partners who make our presence at key trade shows possible. Our choice of venues, incentive activities and our natural geography makes us an attractive proposition and for all year round business.

We return with strong real time enquiries for both counties – a reminder of the value of being visible, connected, and ready to showcase what South West England has to offer.

Site visits play a vital role in helping event planners assess the suitability of a destination for hosting large-scale events.
Especially for slightly lesser known destinations like ours, which is why we at Meet Devon South West England Limited bang the drum as loud as we can to enable us to be in the running for hosting such events - and it’s now starting to pay dividends.

We were delighted to host Gerry Dawson, MMII, QBS and IPBN member for a 3-day familiarisation trip to the where we were able to showcase a taster with a mix of accommodation providers from across the Bay, some larger venues as well as some smaller unique and quirky venues, numerous hospitality outlets plus meeting with key people at Torbay Council

A huge thank you as always to all our brilliant partners who helped make the visit run so seemlessly— your warm welcome and hospitality truly showcased the best of what the has to offer and why it’s perfect for this prestigious event.

Exciting times ahead as we now continue to build on the logistics to make it happen.
