Quiet river being ✨️🌿

I keep gravitating to working alongside rivers more on more. Must be the imprint from Hanien Conradie and her work. Yet another year of joy, heart ache, grappling and intimate conversations with the more than human during animate_earth_collective Rainmaker residentials.

Honouring Oak ✨

Such an honour to have collaborated with earlier this month and do some land art at their HQ in SE London.

Lesnes Abbey Woods park has around 73 hectares (180 acres) of ancient woodland (a fragment of what is left around London), an arboretum containing over sixty species of tree and the ruins of an abbey founded in 1178. It really was a treat joining the team on the ground, along with some dedicated volunteers and get a walking tour of the woods. I could tell that these custodians really pour so much love and dedication into this woodland, I do hope to come and visit and create beauty in this quiet part of London again soon 💚
