With the recent rise in threat levels, we know this news can feel worrying and unsettling. It’s completely natural to feel concerned when things like this happen but please remember, we’re all in this together.

Now more than ever, it’s important to stay aware of what’s going on around you. If something doesn’t feel right, trust that feeling. You’re not overreacting by speaking up, you could be helping to protect others as well as yourself.

To all of our security colleagues and friends, please stay safe and stay vigilant. The work you do on the front line every single day is incredible. It often goes unseen, but it should never be overlooked or taken for granted. You are a vital part of keeping people safe, and your dedication does not go unnoticed.

Look out for one another, trust your instincts and continue to stand strong together 🤝 💙

Tragically, Gary has lost his life while serving in the security industry. This man was a friend of a friend of Lee’s, which makes this hit even closer to home. Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with his loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.

Those of us working in this industry are often the very first on the front line. Frequently responding to incidents way before the police arrive. Unlike police officers, who carry greater protective equipment, many security professionals are equipped with just a radio. Yet we are expected to manage volatile and dangerous situations to protect the public.

It is time the government recognises the risks we face and provides meaningful financial support to help businesses properly protect our personnel.

Torsten dog is coming along in leaps and bounds and continues to impress us every day.

Over the next few weeks he’ll be starting scent detection classes. With such an intelligent bloodline behind him, it’s important that we channel and develop his mind in a way that truly honours his natural ability and drive.

He’s already doing a fantastic job on the protection side too! Especially when someone turns up unannounced at the door. His awareness, confidence and instinct are exactly what we want to see developing at this stage.

Torsten Security is coming along nicely too, continuing to grow steadily as new contracts are being secured. Just like Torsten Dog everything is building exactly as it should. Strong foundations, clear direction and plenty more to come.

Congratulations to the Seahawks on a great result. It was a pleasure to secure the official watch party. From kickoff to final whistle it was secured, managed and executed at the highest standard. Credit to our team for the hours and attention to detail. It’s the Torsten way. 🤝

Have you ever really thought about how many children in this country are caring for family members… quietly growing up far before their time?

While most children are just being children, some are managing responsibilities no child should have to carry alone. That’s the reality for so many young carers in our communities.

Today, we were proud to step in and support our local primary school’s Young Carers group recognising their strength, their resilience and their huge hearts. By providing goodies and vouchers, we wanted to give something back and help make their safe space an even better place to be.

For us, today wasn’t about security, it was about stepping back and helping to secure these children the recognition and resources they truly deserve.

“Some children grow up too fast, not by choice, but by love. The least we can do is show them they are seen.”

Sometimes we all need to pause, look around, and ask ourselves what we can do to support our local community, because even small acts can make a big difference 💙

It’s been a busy start to the year 🙌

Torsten isn’t just a name; it signifies strength, durability and protection. He represents how this business is built: on strong foundations, steady growth and values that stand the test of time.

While Torsten has been perfecting his skills, the rest of the management team haven’t slowed down. In just two weeks, we’ve started a new contract and been awarded another! A strong start and a clear sign of what’s ahead.

This year has been nothing short of humbling. We genuinely would not be where we are today without the trust, loyalty and belief you have placed in us. Supplying over 10,000 hours of service across four European countries is something we never could have imagined when Torsten Security Services was first built. What started here in the UK has grown far beyond our expectations and that growth is entirely thanks to our staff who work incredibly hard delivering nothing short of excellence.

One of our proudest moments this year has been being in the position to welcome our very own security dog to the Torsten family. A milestone that represents just how far we’ve come and our ongoing commitment to raising standards and investing in the future.
