Fetlocks

Fetlocks Fetlocks is a residential supported house which provides equine learning to people with learning difficulties, to increase independence in their lives.

"Fetlocks" incorporates "Two Oaks" and "Paddock Close" for supported housing for young people with learning disabilities who are motivated to learn by their love of horses. They are introduced to the world of work and learn to live in a small community in order to become more independent. The following book explains how Equine Facilitated Therapy works.

* "The Secret Horses Don't Tell" describes

how we benefit from horses in more ways than just health and fitness. It explains how to cure problems such as challenging behaviour to simple aches and pains. How to improve and enhance abilities for people with disabilities or learning difficulties. This book is a way forward for those aspiring to lead a life and career with horses. Excellent active alternative therapy that works.
