✨Another fabulous plumbing job carried out by our Small Repairs Officer Marc recently.

A full toilet & cistern replacement 👏

🔧 Not only was it a new pan and cistern, it needed the pipes for the feed and waste replaced too as the old ones were in disrepair - so a full upgrade completed!

If you are 60+ or disabled / living with a longterm health condition, and would like a repair carried out, then please get in touch:

✨ A new gate made and fitted for one of our clients, just waiting to be painted now (the client will organise for that part).

The previous gate had seen better days, as had the lock and hinges and all were replaced 🔨🪛 Think you'll agree Marc has done a great job! The client is very happy with her new gate and the service she received.

🙏 PAT Tester 🙏

Would anyone have a PAT tester they no longer use/need and would like to donate to us for the Angus Community Tools Library?

It’s not to hire out, it’s to allow our volunteers to PAT Test the Electricals for safety before they go out to the community to use (the volunteers are receiving the training to PAT Test, we just need a tester).

We are happy to have it calibrated if needed!

Thank you! 🤩

🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️Have your say…

Angus Community Tools Library is a community-led project, run by volunteers and shaped by the community. We, Angus Small Repairs Service, are just fortunate enough to have the platform, space and connections to allow us to develop and oversee it. It's available to anyone in the Angus Community aged 18+

And we’re nearly there❗ Our experienced, knowledgeable volunteers are in place, and our many donated items are currently being catalogued and checked. We’ll launch the service shortly, offering the following:

🛠️ DIY – power tools, sockets sets, individual toolboxes and workbenches to name a few
🪏 GARDENING – lawnmowers, strimmer, trimmers, scarifiers, wheelbarrow, spades/forks/hoes
🪜 DECORATING – ladders, pasting tables, wallpaper st*****rs, plumblines etc
🧼 CLEANING – power-washers, carpet shampooers, vacuums,
🪑 GENERAL (from gazebos, folding tables & chairs to portable ramps for wheelchair access)

BUT What are we missing? 🤷

Do we need car repair tools, jacks, ramps?
What about cooking, like jam-making sets (pots and utensils)?
Repairing and crafting perhaps sewing machines?

Be part of this community project and let us know what you would like to see included in the library.

Leave comments on our original post on our feed, or alternatively give us a call, message, text or email -
