On National Black dog day I’m celebrating Nero who was behind the name of my business. Nero and the business came within a few months of each other.

Sadly Nero left us in November 21 but he will truly never be forgotten being the rather interesting character that he was!

I don't normally talk about my clients on here but I thought why not! This couple deserve a mention. I love meeting up with them as their passion for what they do comes across in the way they talk about their work... let me introduce....

🌟 Client Spotlight – Brad & Amelia Services 🌟 Brad and Amelia Services

We'd like to shine a spotlight on Brad & Amelia Services.

Brad and Amelia are a fantastic young couple who launched their cleaning business just over a year and a half ago and have already built a reputation for providing reliable, professional, and high-quality cleaning services across West Cornwall and beyond.

Their services include:
✨ Commercial cleaning
✨ Holiday let changeovers
✨ Domestic cleaning

What really stands out about Brad and Amelia is their incredible drive, passion, and commitment to delivering excellent service to every client. Building a business from the ground up takes hard work and determination, and it's been wonderful to watch them grow and succeed.

If you're looking for a trustworthy cleaning company that genuinely cares about the standard of their work, we highly recommend getting in touch with Brad & Amelia Services.

We're proud to support ambitious local businesses like theirs and look forward to seeing what the future holds for them.

Give them a follow and take a look at their work!

Bit late but Fig says Happy Easter!

What a week this is proving to be. The integration of any new software can be fraught and this week has shown just quite how awkward and time consuming it can be.

New payroll software, although I think will be good in the long run has been a nightmare. When you know that people are relying on you to ensure their pay is correct and paid at the right time there is a whole new level of fear!

Lots of hours but we did it!

First 2 self assessments of the 25-26 season have been submitted plus their partnership return. Lovely young couple looking to buy a house and needed their info asap.

I will try and accommodate as much as I can when info is needed urgently.

Now onto another lovely lady who also needs her tax return submitted asap also because she is buying a house!

Back from a quick visit to London to watch my daughter graduate from her Masters in Public Health. ❤️ I am so incredibly proud of her - she studied this whilst working an insane amount of hours, and despite the uni saying you will never be able to manage the workload she proved them wrong. (Stubbornness runs in our family 😂😂)

Well that's a wrap! 24/25 tax return season is done!

164 tax returns submitted (64 of these in January 26)
2 sadly not quite made the deadline but will done in February

I'm not going to lie it's been a tough month, I've been ill for most of it and every other aspect of my life had to be put on hold but we got there!

Onwards to 25/26 and the start of Making tax digital for income tax.

Will finally get around to taking the Christmas tree down this weekend 🤣

On National Labrador day celebrating these two - Fig and Lucifer! Both 4 years old (although Fig is nearly 5). Both chaotic but life would not be the same without them!

Obviously not forgetting my first Labrador Nero who truly was my soul dog ❤️
