Here's a number worth paying attention to.

According to McKinsey, demand for AI fluency has grown seven times in the past two years. That's faster than any other skill in any category, in any sector.

And what does AI fluency actually mean? Not coding. Not building models. It means understanding what AI is doing, knowing how to prompt it well, and being able to use it as a strategic thinking partner rather than a magic box you throw questions at.

This clip from EP44 of Digital Dominators covers something a bit different, and it's genuinely worth thinking about.

At the European Chatbot and Conversational AI Summit, there was a real conversation about where AI is heading. Not just answering questions, but making decisions, anticipating actions, and automating entire workflows with no human in the loop at every step.

And when that shift happens, the question of trust changes completely. It stops being about whether a response is accurate and starts being about who is responsible when something goes wrong.

Because something will. That's not pessimism. That's just how engineering works.

AI can generate content. It can iterate. It can produce things faster than any of us could manage alone. But it cannot decide what good looks like. It cannot weigh up your values against your efficiency. It cannot make the call about what kind of experience you want to create for your customers.

All of that is human work. And according to Sooz in EP44 of Digital Dominators, as AI gets better at the generating, that human work gets more valuable, not less.
