Jim Wilson of Phantom Billstickers sadly passed away last week. From humble beginnings (“we started out with a photocopier and a dream”), Jim built New Zealand’s largest street postering company.

He visited us in Glasgow in the early 90s , when the street postering landscape was very different to what it is today, and eagerly joined a posting run, fully aware he might get arrested—something that only added to his excitement. We shared a memorable day with him.

Jim was a passionate supporter of the arts and a firm believer in the power of paper and paste. A beautiful soul, he will be deeply missed. Our condolences go to his wife, family, and everyone at Phantom.

If you’re lucky enough to have tickets for Summer Nights at The Bandstand, be sure to check out the vinyl covering on the fence.

Since the inception of this great festival TPA have worked alongside Regular Music to market the event, whilst also printing and applying Regular Music’s images which are in keeping with the already beautiful scenery all along Kelvin Way.

It’s a time of year we love which is topped off by seeing the great acts on show!

Summer Nights at the Bandstand runs until the 16th Aug ‘25, make sure you get along to see what all the fuss is about!

All in aid of - IN THE CITY

The festival itself will be held at Glasgow Green on August Bank Holiday weekend, Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th August 2025.

This two-day event is more than just a music festival, it’s an unmissable celebration of Glasgow’s UNESCO City of Music status and creative culture.

IN THE CITY will celebrate Glasgow’s deep musical roots by merging some of the biggest artists and DJ’s from BBC Radio 6, world music and hip hop, while amplifying the volume on homegrown local talent, straight from the streets of G1.

What’s happening this weekend…? 🎺

Glasgow Jazz Festival returns for its 39th edition! Already underway, it began on Wednesday 18th and runs until Sunday 22nd June 2025.

With over 20 events across the city, showcasing world-class musicians and emerging stars, the festival brings Glasgow’s vibrant jazz scene to life. As the city’s longest-running music festival, it plays a key role in Glasgow’s status as a UNESCO City of Music, enriching the city’s cultural landscape.

The Glasgow School of Art

Over the past few months TPA have been working in collaboration with the Glasgow School of Art and we are proud to present our campaign for ‘Degree Show 2025.’ Consisting of pop up stencils, multiple 4 sheets, quads, drum sides, videos across our digital screens and more.

The ‘Degree Show 2025’ is a major public exhibition showcasing the creativity and innovation of graduating students from the School of Fine Art, School of Design, Mackintosh School of Architecture, and the School of Innovation and Technology.

As one of the city’s largest and most anticipated annual exhibitions, ‘Degree Show 2025’ offers a unique opportunity to experience the exceptional work of the next generation of creative talent.

Most importantly there’s still time to go check it out!!

This year’s Degree Show began with the Master of Fine Art Preview at the Glue Factory, open to the public from the 29th May and will finish on the 9th June. The main Degree Shows across the four schools followed from the 30th May and will finish on the 8th June!
