This qualification combined structured learning with real, on‑the‑job experience, helping to strengthen key skills essential to their role as a Project Coordinator. A great example of growth through learning.

Great to see the Optimal FM Construction team mobilised this week as we kicked off a new project at Tesco Superstore Rosyth.

Following our initial survey, 24 key issues were identified across the site — and our team is now on the ground delivering a full programme of improvement works to transform the store over the coming weeks.

The project scope includes:

✅ Roof repairs
✅ Updated external signage
✅ Canopy repairs and restoration
✅ Jet washing to all affected areas
✅ Full exterior respray to a fresh, modern grey

A strong start from everyone involved, with the initial cleaning and spray works already showing in this ‘before’ picture.

Looking forward to sharing progress and the finished transformation.

Great meeting yesterday between Optimal FM and Rework Digital Media. Together, we’ve been mapping out a large-scale digital marketing strategy to help us reach even more businesses across the UK with our specialist cleaning, contract cleaning, maintenance and construction services.

Now is the perfect time to strengthen our online presence and reach a wider audience. Exciting times ahead, and more to follow.

Feedback from our recent refit at Linwood Tesco Extra...

The team carried out the following works:

✅ New signage throughout the petrol filling station
✅ New signage throughout the store (external and internal)
✅ Shelving upgraded to new retail plan
✅ Full decoration throughout the main store
✅ Full decoration throughout the filling station
✅ Petrol filling station desk, customer service desk, self-service checkouts, and manned tills all re-cladded
✅ ATM pod re-cladded
✅ Full new kitchen fitted in the petrol filling station
✅ New ramraid bollards installed at petrol filling station
✅ Full canopy restoration, including jetwash and staining
✅ New accent lighting installed at produce
✅ A host of joinery works completed
✅ Full diamond polish carried out to the main store terrazzo floor.
✅ Full toilet fitout completed in the three toilets in the colleague area.
✅ New carpet and vinyl installed on all floors in colleague areas.
✅ Concrete repairs carried out to acco drains in the service yard
✅ Landscaping and ground works carried out.

Well done to Jack Cairns from our Construction division, who recently completed his SVQ Level 6 Carpentry and Joinery Apprenticeship.

After four years of hard work, including college and on-site training Jack has successfully achieved his qualification.

Well done, Jack - we are all very proud! 👏

Well done to the Optimal FM Limited Specialist Cleaning Division for a great handover at an assisted living facility in Stornoway.

The scope of work consisted of the installation of door panels for easy access to cleaning and maintenance, and ventilation hygiene system cleaning with post clean EVT testing ensuring compliance with TR19 standards.
