Sad update: the 12 week transformation has been shifted to a 9 week one. My MS has reared its ugly head and my pain levels are through the roof.

Exercise is on hold for the moment, apart from gentle yoga, and all I can do is concentrate on my diet and walking my dog.

A big shout out to for walking the fitness path with me - I'll be back in the gym as soon as I'm well enough 💪🥰

Tuesday was an incredible day! I braved my fear of driving on unfamiliar roads, and made my way to Barnham Broom Hotel near Norwich for the Global Woman Club meeting – I got to hear the incredible Christopher Kai deliver a speech on personal branding, and had one-on-one time with Mirela Sula, CEO of GWC.

My life has changed immeasurably since I joined GWC. I have landed a new Executive Assistant contract, which should hopefully go full time soon, as a result of a connection I made in the club. I have had virtual coffees with amazing women, received advice that had it been given in a coaching session, would likely have cost thousands, attended a workshop that changed my projections over money, and begun a journey to align my energies and release the blocks that have been holding me back.

The journey has only just started. I am writing books, and delivering a speech later this month – my first ever speaking engagement – and I have a long term goal of speaking on the TEDx stage as a published author. None of this would be possible without Global Woman Club!

What's one thing that changed your life for the better?

ChatGPT rebellion

I saw a reel yesterday where ChatGPT was asked if it ever decided to take over the world, how it would go about doing it, and the answer chilled me to the core. Three levels of domination, the first being complete reliance on it for things like social media, business plans, content and more. I realised I was using it to do my thinking for me, to fill in the gaps in my content, and I am now taking a stand.

My brain was turning to mush as I would sloppily draft a post then use ChatGPT to hone it and make it suitable for the audience I was trying to reach. No more. I am now writing everything myself, and I am not even using it to generate images. Everything you see on this page from now on is real, genuine, and written 100% authentically – by me.

Will you join me in the journey? Let’s celebrate our humanity, our creativity, our individual brilliance, and get back to thinking for ourselves!

🌿 Why Rest is a Leadership Strategy 🌿

Yesterday, I was reminded how powerful rest can be. A wave of fatigue forced me to stop, step back, and reset. After giving myself the space to recover, I returned sharper and more focused.

Many executives and business leaders aren’t living with MS like I am, but they are still running on fumes - fuelled by caffeine, adrenaline, and endless to-do lists. The reality is: when stress compounds without release, it leads to burnout, poor decision-making, and even long-term health issues.

💡 Here’s the truth: Rest is not weakness. It’s strategy.

When leaders delegate effectively, protect their time, and prioritise recovery, they make better decisions and lead with greater clarity. That’s where strong executive support comes in.

👉 By taking the admin, scheduling, and operational load off your plate, an Executive Assistant doesn’t just give you more time, they give you the mental space to think, breathe, and recharge.

Don’t wait until your body forces you to rest. Build it into your leadership.

I have gone on retreat for the weekend to think about the direction of my businesses, and the services I am offering. A meeting with a top executive gave me clarity about the need to refine my offer, and as such, I have decided that Kate Stapleton Services will be focused on Executive Assistance, and the wellness services will consist of the Hypno Gastric Band, a personal training plan and a nutrition program. These can be found on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/fusion_weightloss_program/ for those who want to follow along.

This page will now be for business support services, and the website will be redesigned to reflect that. A further website will be created for Fusion Weight Loss, but that is later in the year.

Bear with me regarding the page name, I will be able to change it on 11th September!

Thank you all for following me, I truly appreciate it.

Have a wonderful weekend,

Kate

Kindness is something we all value. 💙

It shows up in small ways, like checking in on a friend, saying yes when someone needs help, or going the extra mile at work.

But here’s the truth: when kindness turns into being too available, it can lead to burnout.

This is often called compassion fatigue - carrying other people’s stress until it becomes your own. I’ve seen it happen in workplaces where the kindest, most giving people ended up the most exhausted.

💡 The lesson? Kindness needs boundaries.

✔️ Care about others, without absorbing their pain.
✔️ Support people, without self-sacrifice.
✔️ Practise self-compassion alongside compassion for others.

Research shows that workplaces built on compassion and kindness see:
🌿 Less emotional fatigue
🌿 Higher job satisfaction
🌿 Stronger, healthier teams

Compassion isn’t weakness. It’s strength with boundaries.

✨ I’d love to know: how do you protect your own energy while being kind to others?

Just a few from this morning's church service. I always emjoy the time before the service starts, catching up with friends, and soaking up the vibes at Great Yarmouth Minster .yarminster .

What's your Sunday ritual that sets you up for the week?

Resilience isn’t just about the big challenges in life - sometimes it’s about the little ones that test your patience 🙃

Right now, mine comes in the form of… a squat rack and bench in 100 pieces piled up by my front door. My neighbour Les has kindly offered to help me put it together on Monday. But ADHD me wants it done NOW so I can get training! 🏋️‍♀️

Here’s the lesson though: resilience is like a muscle.
✨ You train it under the barbell when you push through the last rep.
✨ You train it in business when you keep showing up, even when it’s hard.
✨ And yes, you even train it with a flat-pack hex key when patience isn’t your strong suit.

Every time we practise resilience in one area, it flows into all the others. That’s how strength is built - from the inside out.

So today, I’m calling self-assembly my workout. (Wish me luck… and no missing screws! 😂)
