Deadline 11 August to apply for a bursary place of £1250 to attend WOMEX 2026!

WOMEX is one of the largest international music conferences in the world, taking place in a different European location each October. This year's WOMEX takes place in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, Spain.

⏩ Applicants must be individuals or organisations working in traditional, folk, roots, global or jazz music in Scotland and/or Scotland’s indigenous languages, or working with artists in these areas.

The bursary recipient will receive:
💡 A £1250 contribution towards travel, accommodation and registration costs which will be booked by the applicant themselves

📣 Inclusion in promotional material produced by Creative Scotland

🤝 Pre-event briefings and support, including connection with other UK and Ireland-wide delegates

ℹ️ Access support costs, as required.
