Some call it an omen when a picture that has been hanging on your wall for ages suddenly falls to the ground. Well I’m taking it as a sign that the cosmos is nudging me to make more glass, especially as after the fall the wooden frame broke but my glass did not 😎👍🏻

Play day in the studio!! I love play days ❤️ especially when I get to use up the left over pieces from cutting out my fishes. I try making it my mission to waste nothing and hope that from this I can make something new, in this case I’m hoping to make some glass hanging mobiles but also loving the patterns the shapes leave behind👍🏻

There’s something about a piece of blue transparent glass that I love. I feel the glorious tranquil hues of blues are perfectly captured in my fused glass fishes from the turquoise, caribbean, peacock and copper palettes. I can never get enough of the colour blue. Reminds me of the sea every time.

Been busy making some pic n mix fishes using up my recycled glass. I was wishing I was a fishy with all the rain we’ve been having down here in Cornwall. They certainly brighten my day, loving the pops of colours

Yipeeee!!! schools out and I am now back in my glass studio which seems like a lifetime ago. After a little spring clean I got stuck straight in with some of my recycled glass pic n mix sun catchers. A riot of colours that definitely tick my box. Here’s praying to the kiln gods that my kiln is happy too now that It’s back in action.

Its been forever since I last posted!!! Back in the studio for the first time this year after a long break. For my first kiln firing of the year my favourite fish are back on the menu. I love making the fish, they are time consuming but so worth it, I love both the turquoise and the Caribbean blue glass.
