Our little son shocked us yesterday by saying the “L”-word. Yes as parents we understand that kids have interests, hobbies and toys that they like. We forget that kids are people too. So when he said the “L”-word, the wires in my brain went whizzzzzz and I looked at my equally shocked wife. “Where did he get that from?”, we asked. But he insisted with more energy. “It is the best and the fastest” ...he said. BINGO! It clicked in our minds. We had to support him. This could be big this, we agreed. And this morning he woke up and shocked us again. He said, “Mummy & Daddy, my dream has come true!” “What dream?” I said. He replied “The LAMBORGHINI dream. I will drive it.” And I kissed him on the cheek. “Yes you will my little king,” I said. LAMBORGHINI? A £300,000 car? Why not a BMW, a LEXUS, or a MICRA, on MINI? What a dreamer my SON is!!! Amazingly in all of us adults there is that little child with dreams that we want to achieve. How long shall we hold on before we start living the dream.
