I saw a man standing on a rooftop in Santorini last week, painting it white.
Sunshine. That view. A paintbrush and a purpose.

And for a moment I genuinely thought - is he the one who has got it right?

It made me think about the question I come back to again and again, for myself and for the women I work with.

Are you in your best job right now? Are you working towards it? Or are you quietly questioning what comes next?

There is no wrong answer. But there is something important in knowing which one is true for you.

Here are three simple questions to help you find out.

One. Does your work fit who you are becoming, not just who you were when you took the job? We change. Our careers do not always keep up.

Two. When you imagine doing what you do for another five years, do you feel energised or quietly deflated? That feeling is information. Do not ignore it.

Three. Is there something you keep coming back to - a skill, an idea, a version of yourself - that your current work does not have room for? That pull is worth paying attention to.

You do not need to blow everything up to find your best work. Sometimes it is a pivot, not a leap. Sometimes it is a conversation you have been putting off. Sometimes it is simply giving yourself permission to want something different.

The man on the rooftop may have the best job in the world. Or he may be dreaming of something else entirely while he paints.

Only he knows.

What about you - are you in it, working towards it, or ready to question what is next? I would love to know.

You are capable, you are organised and hold a lot together. From the outside, you look good. But somewhere along the way, you stopped being able to answer the question - what do I really want?

Not for your career, not for your family, for you.

That quiet lostness is more common than anyone talks about, and it’s why Hope Delivered exists.

It’s a free community for women who want to feel clearer, connected and like themselves again. We meet monthly online, we reflect together, and we show up for each other in a way that most of us are not getting right now.

If this sounds familiar, come and find us. You don’t have the have it figured out to join. That is very much the point.

DM me now to join our next connection call.

A woman pulled out a tape measure at an event yesterday and I have not stopped thinking about it since.

100cm. One year per centimetre. Average female life expectancy in the UK is 84.

She ripped off the years already lived at one end. Then the years beyond average at the other.

What was left was the bit in the middle. The bit you are actually in, right now.

I turn 47 in a couple of weeks. I held what was left and felt something shift. Not panic, more clarity. Less noise, more intention.

It is a sobering reminder that time is the one thing we cannot get back. And sometimes we all need something simple and visual to cut through the busy and remind us what actually matters.

The tape measure is below. I would love to know what it makes you think about?
