Delighted to be headed to this evening for the private view of their new series Can The Seas Survive Us?

The season explores humanity's enduring and complex relationship with the sea through contemporary art, historical paintings, and global maps.

It is opening with two exhibitions; A World of Water - artists and artefacts charting 250 years of history, exploring the human impact on the seas. Featuring works by artists Maggi Hambling, Eva Rothschild, John Crome, Olafur Eliasson and many more.

Plus, Darwin In Paradise Camp by YukI Kiara - reclaiming past narratives of gender in Samoa and globally - both human and marine.

We are passing the baton of BFI Film Academy Short Courses in the Eastern region!

APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN for the NEW short courses for Suffolk and Norfolk. Our team are supporting this year so as to ensure a smooth transition.

Specially designed for young people (16-19 years) with some demonstrable filmmaking interest and/or experience, the BFI Academy Short Course provides a fast-paced, fun and practical filmmaking experience.

Both courses are to be held over the upcoming Autumn half term.
Applications close at midnight 2nd October.
