The Vineyard Nature Pond. We have dragonflies - pond royalty. Newts, frogs, insects, just make a pond and they will come, its amazing.

Lets hear it for LEAVES!, the real workers in the vineyard - without their magic transformation of sunlight into energy, the superstar grapes would not be there to shine.

Friends of the Vineyard, learning, chatting, taking in nature, while working on the vines.

They are opening their arms, bearing their faces and everything else to the blazing sun like the wanton goddesses they are. The pond and wildflowers are still and baked. I think the vines might be the only ones on the site really enjoying this heat.

Small Batch Bottling, Not a Post About Frost

Fun was had and lots learnt from Adam **e, a new w**e was nurtured on its way into bottle.
Combe Hay Vineyard * 40th VINTAGE*, making a Col Fondo from Huxelrebe grapes picked in September 2025. My tasting notes on the w**e before we added sugar for the second fermentation read - lime, avocado, sherbert, with scrumpy-appley edges. It's very personnal what you get from w**e. So looking forward to tasting the finished product!
