More travels for us this week, down to the south west of the country, a long standing customer and a new customer in the Southampton area. ✅
Few teams meetings on the journey and more from the office. ✅
Caught up on our admin, CRM and accounts receivable, with some clarifications on payment terms for our new new customers ✅
More deliveries to Europe, which is proving a very interesting business for us. ✅
Next week will be a lighter week for us, no travels next week for work anyway ……

Last week was a week of visiting customers. ✅
We visited Aberdeen, Falkirk, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Manchester. Had teams meetings along the way as well ✅
I love this part of our work, getting to meet new people and see new places ✅

This week brought us a very busy week. ✅
We reached a first major milestone of achieving 100 deliveries, and it continued beyond that for the rest of the week. ✅
Almost completed the new additions to the website for our new partner Coburn Technologies, Inc. Should go live towards end of next week. ✅
Filed and paid second quarter VAT bill. You know things are going well, when this increases! ✅
Had a great visit over in Sheffield ✅
Off to Scotland next week for a few days to visit more customers….

So what did this week bring ….
Learnt a big lesson in exporting to Northern Ireland, but as always, we found our way through it. Now have our TSS number, our XI number and will be ready to ship on Monday. ✅
Had some good visits, met some new customers, trying to understand their issues from the past to improve their experience through VeroCore. ✅
Had a catch up with an existing customer who is very happy with the service we provide. Had a lot of stock from their previous supplier, but new orders should be filtering through very soon. ✅
More stock from the US and Switzerland clearing customs with no issues ✅
Time for our 2nd quarter VAT return to be submitted next week …..

Had some great customer interactions, positive feedback and more orders ✅
Quarterly meeting held with one our partners - all positive, with exhibition planning for next year ✅
Off on our travels again next week to Yorkshire and North East England ✅

Exciting week, business is going really well, better than anticipated ✅
Day trip to Gloucester, meeting with a lovely customer I’ve known for many years ✅
All stock fully in place for new partner ✅
So now have a good stock for all 3 partners, relationships growing well ✅
Trying to provide the best customer service possible is definitely the right path for me, the company, our partners and all our customers ✅

Great week this week! ✅
Went live with our new partner Coburn Technologies, Inc. ✅
Started building relationships with some new customers already! ✅
Invested in more consumable stock from our other partners Borer Chemie AG and Bühler Group Leybold Optics to support the market✅
The orders are growing and the deliveries increasing! Can’t ask for better than that ✅

The biggest news for us this week was our new partnership with Coburn Technologies. ✅

This partnership will enable us to expand further into the ophthalmic market within the UK and now Western Europe.✅

With the combination of partnerships we now have, we are now in a position to supply the downstream equipment for surfacing and spin coating as well as the dip hard coat solutions and anti-reflection coating equipment we already offer.

The combination of surfacing, spin coating, dip hard coating and AR coating gives us the opportunity to offer more solutions to the ophthalmic market. From entry level to larger scale manufacturing.

VeroCore will also add to its distribution of consumables portfolio from Buhler Leybold Optics - Ophthalmics and Borer Chemie cleaning solutions, with consumables and coatings from Coburn Technologies. All will be available from stock within the UK.

This puts us in an excellent position to look after the ophthalmic market in a broader scope. ✅

As well as expanding within ophthalmic, our market for Borer Chemie cleaning solutions gives us access to other markets, such as the precision metal market, PVD, Precision Optics, De-coating, high purity cleaning for the semiconductor market and medical technology to name but a few. ✅

This is the news we have been waiting to share. We have now agreed a strategic partnership with Coburn Technologies Inc - offering some of their range of equipment specifically relating to surfacing and spin coating into the UK and Western European markets, expanding our business further into the ophthalmic world. In addition to the equipment business , we will also be their distributor for consumables and coatings for the same market.

Along with our existing partners Buhler Leybold Optics and Borer Chemie, we are now in a very strong position to support our ophthalmic customers even more than before, fulfilling their equipment and consumable needs.
