Sometimes the real impact of what we do is invisible until someone tells you.
In May, Connect to Connect was able to support a family from Romania who lost everything when fire destroyed the home three generations of them had shared. The amount we gave wasn’t huge as we raised £100 during the event — but what came back to us was.
The feedback we received reflected faith and gratefulness- wasn’t about the money at all.
It was about feeling that they weren’t forgotten, that there was still continuity, still faith, and still a chance that things can get better. Reading that humbled all of us here at Connect to Connect.
It’s exactly why charity has been part of Connect to Connect since day one — built on the simple belief that what goes around comes around, and that even small gestures can carry enormous meaning.
