Self Employed Street Dance Teacher – Primary School Settings

We are looking to source an enthusiastic, reliable Self Employed Street Dance Teacher to join our growing team delivering high quality dance sessions in primary schools. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about working with children, confident in teaching street dance styles, and committed to providing engaging, energetic lessons that inspire young learners.

About the Role
As a visiting dance tutor, you will deliver fun, structured sessions that introduce children to the foundations of street dance, build confidence, and encourage creativity. You will work independently within school settings, so professionalism, punctuality, and excellent communication skills are essential.

What We’re Looking For
• A teacher with experience working with primary aged children
• Someone enthusiastic, dependable, and confident leading groups
• A tutor with skills and interest in street dance (qualification or strong background preferred)
• A professional who can provide excellent references demonstrating reliability and quality of work

Essential Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must:
• Be self employed and registered with HMRC
• Hold Public Liability Insurance
• Hold an Enhanced DBS, preferably with Barred Lists and registered with the Update Service
• Be able to prove their right to work in the UK

Desirable
• Dance teaching qualifications or relevant training
• Experience delivering workshops, clubs, or curriculum based sessions in schools
• A positive, child centred approach to teaching
