We couldn't have asked for better weather today for our Summer Garden Party at Hethel Engineering Centre. The deck chairs were a big hit with the businesses on site, just don't expect to look graceful getting out of them...

How many people get to say that their workplace has a community woodland?

Us, we get to say it! There are many things which make unique, from the fact that it's a redeveloped RAF airbase surrounded by rolling countryside, the thriving STEAM businesses based here, to the high-quality on-site coffee shop Javabean. The community woodland however, provides a real escape during the working day.

According to Mental Health First Aid England Key Workplace Mental health Statistics 2024, 79% of employees experience moderate to high stress levels at work and with signs of burnout becoming more common, employee wellbeing is becoming a priority for business owners to make sure they get the balance right.

It's festival week! We're buzzing to make our way down to the Norwich Science Festival this weekend, alongside some brilliant members of Hethel Engineering Centre; Ansible Motion Allsaved.

We'll be in the Explorium (The Forum, Norwich) from 15th - 22nd Feb, 10am - 4pm, where the atrium will be filled with lots of hands-on activities, challenges and games for all ages.

City College will be joining us at both Hethel Engineering Centre and Scottow Enterprise Park next week! Great chance for our members to have a chat about taking on apprentices.

As part of National Apprenticeship Week, our team will be heading out on their very own roadshow from February 10th to 14th to showcase our range of apprenticeships!
