💚 CHARITY OF THE MONTH | LITTLE GATE SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT 💚
This September, we’re proud to shine our Charity of the Month spotlight on the fantastic Little Gate Supported Employment, an East Sussex charity creating life-changing opportunities for people with learning disabilities and autism.
Little Gate’s mission is simple but incredibly important: to help people train for, find and thrive in paid employment. They work closely with individuals, families and businesses across East Sussex and Kent to break down barriers and create meaningful opportunities in the workplace.
Through Supported Employment, Supported Apprenticeships and Supported Work Training, Little Gate helps people develop skills, confidence and independence, while matching individuals with employers and roles where they can truly flourish. Their Job Coaches also provide ongoing support to both employees and employers, helping to make each placement a success.
🌱 But their work doesn’t stop there. Little Gate also supports children, young people and families through its Little Gate Rangers programme, as well as running social enterprises that provide trainees with valuable real-world business experience.
For local businesses, there’s an important message too. Could your business provide an opportunity for someone who wants to work, learn and achieve? Little Gate works with employers to find the right person for the right role, with Job Coach support provided throughout the process.
