Today marks the start of our 2026 concert season and our Operations Director Jay Adderley C.Env.Cln is down supporting in Southampton for the first show of the summer with Take That kicking things off.

Over June and July, CleanEvent teams will help deliver:
• 57 Concerts
• 26 Artists
• 8 Venues
• Over 3 million concert goers
• Hundreds of operatives, supervisors and managers
• Tens of thousands of working hours

What people often don’t see is the complexity concerts bring to venues.

Stadiums and arenas operate completely differently during concert season compared to normal day to day operations and over the years we have really honed and developed our structure, planning and processes to become an industry leading business in this space.

Concerts are not just “another event”. Every promoter and production company operates differently, every tour has different expectations and every minute counts. Understanding how production impacts the operation of a venue is critical to making these events successful.

One of the biggest pressures is turnaround time. Our ability to clear and recover a stadium pitch in as little as 10–15 minutes after the lights go on, is paramount in helping tours pack down efficiently and move quickly onto the next city. Those small time gains have massive impacts across a national tour schedule.

We are also proud that across the venues we operate in, CleanEvent will be providing cleaning services to 50% of Take That’s UK tour this year.

Concert season is tough. Long days, short turnarounds, huge crowds and constant pressure. But it’s also one of the best examples of what great teams and great operational planning can achieve together.

A huge good luck and thank you to every single member of our teams across the country over the next couple of months.

Let’s get after it. 🎤💪

Yesterday, we welcomed employees from across the business to our second CE Academy workshop, bringing together up-and-coming leaders from our teams based at Liverpool FC, Manchester City FC, Tottenham Hotspur FC & Training Ground, Cheltenham Racecourse and our Specialist CleanKitchen Division.

The CE Academy is designed to support and develop our future leaders, equipping them with the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to progress into more senior roles within the business. This workshop focused on effective delegation, exploring why it is such an important leadership skill, the benefits it brings to teams and individuals, and how to delegate successfully in the workplace. The session, led by Martin Seale and Jodie Bishop, enabled everyone to share their own experiences and learn from one another.

It’s fantastic to watch the progress of this group already and see the next generation of leadership and succession planning continuing to develop across the business.

Confetti everywhere… and the venue back in use the very next day 🎉

At Silverstone Circuits, “George Brushell” recently helped tackle a large post-event confetti clean, supporting the team in completing the task in almost half the time it would likely have taken manually.

Working alongside the machine over a 7-hour period, our team was able to keep the clean moving efficiently while allowing operatives to focus on other key areas including toilets and entrance spaces.

This is where equipment like George really adds value - not just saving time, but helping teams work smarter in high-pressure environments where turnaround times matter.

Efficiency, flexibility and one less longer shift 👏
