This week SEVRA attended The Security Event 2026, The Fire Safety Event 2026, and The Health & Safety Event 2026 at the NEC Birmingham.
A few days spent surrounded by some of the best manufacturers, innovators, integrators, and compliance specialists in the industry, all focused on one thing - raising standards across safety, security, infrastructure, and operational resilience.
From next-generation fire detection and intelligent monitoring through to integrated CCTV, access control, compliance systems, and workplace safety technology, the scale of innovation across the events was clear to see.
What stood out most was how rapidly the industry is moving towards connected, accountable, and fully integrated solutions. Clients no longer want five different contractors passing responsibility between each other. They want joined-up systems, clear accountability, faster response, stronger compliance, and trusted long-term support.
That is exactly the direction SEVRA is building towards.
The week gave us the opportunity to strengthen supplier relationships, explore emerging technologies, and have valuable conversations around the future of integrated service delivery across fire, security, compliance, facilities, and infrastructure support.
A productive few days with a lot coming back with us.
The industry is evolving quickly.
SEVRA intends to evolve with it.
