Are your headshots actually working for you?
When castings feel quiet, it’s easy to think, “Why isn’t my agent getting me seen?” But sometimes the better question is: what could we change to give casting directors more reasons to see me?!
Your Spotlight profile is your shop window and your headshots need to show your range, casting potential and the roles you could realistically walk into.
One great headshot is important. But a selection that shows different sides of you can help casting see the possibilities: modern, classic, younger, sporty… same performer, different casting opportunities.
Before assuming your agent needs to work harder, take another look at your Spotlight:
✨ Are your photos current?
✨ Do they actually look like you?
✨ Do they show enough range without looking like different people?
Sometimes a few thoughtful changes to your profile can make a bigger difference than simply waiting for the next casting to come along.
