Are you Flushing?

Although people have returned to the work place, not nearly enough have returned to the levels of pre Covid Pandemic days that allow water systems usage to turn over to safe levels combating bacterial growth and contamination. Flushing of low use outlets in buildings is critical in maintaining those safe levels along with a stringent water treatment regime. What many people do not realise is that flushing of low use outlets does not only mean tap outlets but also includes toilet cisterns. Each time a toilet is flushed aerosol water droplets are spread from the pan to atmosphere, these droplets if the water has been sitting for some time can carry legionella.

No need to wait for Spring to have a Spring Clean.

At no time like the present has it been more important to maintain cleanliness in buildings and in the workplace.

Safety is always paramount, when events take hold unexpectedly, like where we are at present with the Covid-19 Pandemic, ECFM Services did not take the approach of wait and see. We took a pro-active view at the beginning of the crisis and put measures in place with our cleaning regimes to strengthen the safety of our clients, their visitors and our own work force. We reviewed the cleaning regimes themselves, cleaning products, cleaning practises, the wearing of PPE to make sure from the offset ECFM Services complied and in cases exceeded not only government guidelines but also those of our clients.

ECFM Services does not view cleaning as just a service, we also see it as a science, the products we choose to use are all environmentally friendly and pass our stringent sustainability criteria. All our chemicals and products are supplied with full COSHH and MSDS documentation.
