We are thrilled to announce that after months of hard work The Imagination Factory is the first product design and engineering agency in the UK to be certified as a BCorp.

What's a BCorp?
Essentially, it's businesses working for a purpose as well as a profit.

They include big well-known brands The Guardian, Ella's Kitchen, The Body Shop and Patagonia.

When we certified in October 2020, we became one of 350 BCorps in UK , joining 3600 across 75 countries, and the first product design business in the UK.

B Corps used to be thought of as confined to small businesses, but in recent years that's changed as larger hugely influential businesses have certified.

What's involved?
You meet a rigorous third-party standard for overall social and environmental performance and legal accountability. Aligning the interests of business with those of society and collectively working together to bring about long term change that benefits all stakeholders.


In January we are hosting a workshop online where we will explore how to address the challenges of sustainability in design and engineering, and how the BCorp framework has helped us do this.
