📢 Important Update for Registered Nannies
From the 2026/27 academic year, Student Finance England will no longer accept nanny registration for Childcare Grant claims in most cases. Families will generally need to use Ofsted-registered childminders or nurseries instead.
If you're currently registered as a nanny, now is the perfect time to transition to becoming an Ofsted-registered Childminder and protect your childcare business.
