We are looking to recruit a heat pump installer. T4 have been in the renewable energy business for over 15 years, and we mainly install heat pumps and solar panel systems.
You will be working as a plumber and heating engineer, mainly installing heat pumps in domestic properties. We can provide on the job training in all aspects of the work, plus further training, to the point where you can organise and carry out an installation yourself.
A clean driving licence and previous experience working onsite from a van with tools would be useful. The job involves a mixture of practical and design skills, plus the ability to work as part of a team and relate to customers. The pay for a contractor is £13.50/hour, which annualised is gross pay of £26,000.
You would be working initially as a contractor, with employment to follow depending on how you get on and our flow of upcoming work.
Heat pumps are the future for heating systems in most properties in this country, so we expect long term growth in the installation market over several decades. All domestic properties have plumbing and heating systems so this is a secure source of work for the foreseeable future.
