Its been a busy three weeks, back to back installs of two large wireless systems then this week we replaced a 100+ device system in a large 5 storey building. We had to replace the fire panel, all detection, connect and test all 3rd party connections, including AOV, extraction systems and sprinkler systems, all within 24 hours to minimise the risk to the residents. Also to reduce ongoing maintenance costs we installed a Scorpion point head unit to enable easy annual testing of the lift shaft detector without the need of a lift engineer callout. This will pay for itself within a couple of years and provides up to 10 years of detector testing. Another great team effort on this one and hopefully some happy customers! 😃

🔥 Fire Safety Matters – Every Door, Every Alarm, Every Time 🔥

When fire safety precautions are removed, fire takes hold—and fast.

A stark reminder comes from a derelict building in Newquay, once a bustling hotel, now left vulnerable. With fire doors removed and alarms disconnected, flames can spread unchecked and go unnoticed until it’s too late.

This is why GFS is proud to supply trusted fire safety products that protect lives and property. From fire doors and extinguishers to alarms and signage, GFS helps ensure your building is ready to resist fire—not invite it.

✅ Fire doors slow the spread
✅ Alarms alert early
✅ Precautions save lives

Don’t wait for disaster to strike. Equip your property with the right fire safety gear from GFS—because prevention is always better than devastation.
