It is with deep sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.

As we all strive in our professions, businesses and day to day lives, it can so easy to forget that no matter what paths we choose to follow, we always retain a duty to our families, to each other and to our community – to give back, to serve, to be of use.

Our late Queen was the embodiment of such dedication to public service and her love and empathy for her country and her people was felt. Our heartfelt condolences to the British Royal Family during this time.

We're super proud of our team who attended the HSJ Partnership Awards last night as finalists 👏.

After some tough competition, BSL alongside our project partner Integrated Care 24 were 'Highly commended' in the category of Best Healthcare Analytics Project for the NHS.

Through successfully implementing NICE Nexidia Speech Analytics into IC24s NHS 111 service we've helped to improve patient care through the use of analytics.

The teams at Business Systems not only stand in solidarity for those fighting for their lives and for their freedom, but also wish to express our unequivocal commitment to support the nation and its people.

As part of this commitment, BSL are coming together to provide support to those in need in a number of ways. Firstly we will be making a direct donation to Disasters Emergency Committee. For anyone unfamiliar, the DEC brings together 15 leading UK aid charities, all of which are experts in providing humanitarian aid quickly and effectively We will encourage our employees to also donate, the sum of which we will match to the first £25,000 in addition to our initial donation.

We are already engaging with our partners and portfolio of companies, championed by August Equity to expedite an internal action plan for supporting Ukrainian immigrants to the UK; supporting visa applications and employees charitable initiatives. As part of these plans we will also be in contact with local government and MPs to accelerate their planned sponsorship scheme to bring Ukrainian refugees to the UK.

We are committed to breaking this bias everyday and are showing up to mark this call to action for accelerating women’s equality, calling out gender bias, discrimination and stereotyping in its various forms.
