Today, we want to talk about James...
We met James this morning at our Trades & Construction Sprinter Group, and honestly, he really stood out.
He’s 17, has recently completed his Level 2 Electrical Installation course at South Devon College, and is predicted to achieve an overall Distinction.
He’s also working towards his CSCS Green Card and already has previous on-site labouring experience.
But what impressed us most wasn’t just his qualifications.
It was James himself.
He was polite, confident, incredibly easy to talk to and genuinely interested in the people around him. His conversational skills, enthusiasm and knowledge really blew us away🤩
James is keen to get stuck in, learn practical skills, gain hands-on experience and build a long-term career in the electrical industry.
And, as we keep hearing, the construction industry needs to invest in the next generation.
Sometimes, all a young person needs is for someone to give them that first opportunity💙🧡
