No splitting work today, instead we have been upgrading and maintaining our splitter, the old valve block was starting to cause issues and limiting performance, so rather than just replace it, we have upgraded to a larger flow model to increase productivity 🪵

We’ve been quiet on here recently due to other commitments, but we’re back to the splitting work now, testing out the final touches to our new trailer mounted 25t splitter!

This weekend we have been over at Barrowford making a start on processing a large pile of logs into fire wood for a new customer 🪵

Well what a day…. Started this morning as my first rally on pacenotes, and only my second sat next too Seddy, we struggled on the first few stages with catching slower vehicles, and then the rain set in for the day….

We kept pushing where we could, and built a good pace, gaining confidence as we went.

We had a good run through stages 5 & 6, continuing to build the pace, into stage 7 and another good run saw us in good stead, into a quick final service, happy with the car, so a quick check over and we were on our way to the final stage.

We had built a good pace and gained a few position’s from our original seeding, Seddy had a brilliant drive catching our 30 second man, whilst building confidence in the notes and pushing further where we could.

Finished the rally 26th Overall, after starting at car 85.

A brilliant drive by Seddy, the car is a credit to him through all the prep work and late nights in the garage.
A huge thank you to all of our team, Sammy, Alex, Jimmy, Rachel and Ben - Thank you for giving up your weekend to support us in our passion, especially in the awful weather!

Finally, a massive thank you to each and every marshal and official that made today happen, without you we could not enjoy our sport - thank you, and I hope you’ve all dried out!

Nice little job for a new customer in North Yorkshire, processing some recently felled Ash ready for the winter.
