Caperture Imagery is a Kent based photographer who is available for weddings, social events, commercial, band shoots and any of your photographic needs!

Another sad post.

For those of you who don’t know - perhaps only linked to her via Instagram - passed away on Sunday morning.

She had been battling for a long time and I am devastated that she’s no longer with us.

Château Gaillard, (French: “Saucy Castle”), 12th-century castle built by Richard the Lion-Heart on the Andelys cliff overlooking the Seine River in France; substantial portions of it still stand.

Upon its completion Richard reportedly declared in triumph that his new castle was gaillard, a term that has been defined in numerous ways, most often as “saucy” but also as “cheeky,” “gallant,” “impudent,” “strapping,” and “defiant.”

All that is to say: it was the strongest castle of its age, built as a challenge to the French monarchy.

Montreuil-Sur-Mer is a beautiful town that helped inspire Victor Hugo’s Les Miserable. The town is surrounded by beautiful brickwork ramparts, dating back to 1537.

This beautiful 13th Century Gothic edifice with two uneven towers. It’s famous for lavish decorations and carvings.
