✨ And just like that… the Kirkintilloch Big Weekend has come and gone! 💙

We’ve caught up with a few of our local businesses to hear how they found Kirkintilloch’s busiest weekend, and it’s great to hear that the extra footfall was very much welcomed! 👏🏻

One local business described it as “𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐞”, saying it “𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐚 𝐦𝐮𝐜𝐡-𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐰𝐧.” 📍

Another told us: “𝐖𝐞 𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐥𝐨𝐚𝐝𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬. 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐥, 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐡𝐮𝐠𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐚 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞.”

That’s exactly what we want to see, visitors enjoying Kirkintilloch, businesses getting the opportunity to promote themselves and the town buzzing with activity. 💙

And those Keep Britain Tidy cigarette bins dotted around the event? 🪣👀 Safe to say, they were put to good use and very much welcomed at this year’s event! 👏🏻 Spot a few in our video? We also hope you grabbed a FREE Butt Box too! 🚬 A little something to help keep Kirkintilloch clean.
