All services include a complimentary one-hour consultation to determine the level of overwhelm and make a plan to overcome it.

👥 One to One with the long-lived

Once our plan is agreed, we roll up our sleeves and get to work: this can be on a project basis, an ad hoc basis or regular sessions over a period of time.

👐 Family support

Once we've agreed where best I can support the family members, we make a plan and put them into action. Again this can be on a project basis, an ad hoc basis or regular sessions over a period of time.

👔 Professional support

I provide support to a wide range of professionals, including solicitors, accountants, eldercare consultants, carers, and more. My role is to help them assist their clients in achieving their desired outcomes. Often, these professionals find themselves burdened with administrative tasks that fall outside their areas of expertise, diverting their focus from their core responsibilities. This is where I can be of assistance. I can help with tasks such as locating and organising essential documents for financial planning and tax reporting, as well as facilitating necessary changes to ensure the safety and continued independence of clients for as long as possible.

This quote really resonated with me when I watched Live to 100: Secrets of the Blue Zone.

We get so busy with our own lives that we don't make room for our elders and forget that they still have much to teach us if only we would make the time to listen.

If you haven't watched Live to 100: Secrets of the Blue Zone, I highly recommend it. You can find it on Netflix.

In it, Dan Buettner discovers five unique communities where people live extraordinarily long and vibrant lives and then distills what he believes are the pillars.

Quite often our clients find themselves in need of services they never knew about.

We have developed good relationships with other service providers who help the long-living including elder care consultants who are experts in all things to do with personal care. Listening to these experts, we can then help facilitate actions that come out of these consultations such as:

⏰ help purchase and set up personal alarms

👀 help research and interview later-life financial advisers (we are proud to be an affiliate member of the Society of Later Life Advisers (SOLLA). SOLLA helps people and their families in finding trusted accredited financial advisers who understand financial needs in later life.

🛠️ facilitate changes to the home recommended by professionals

and whatever else may come up as part of the process.

There is always so much to do to keep a household up and our clients can find it too much to bear.

We can:

🆘 help when appliances break down whether it’s navigating insurance paperwork and processes or researching and helping to purchase new ones

📞 liaise with cleaners, declutterers, handymen, electricians, plumbers, etc to ensure necessary work gets done in the house

👀 research and liaise with appropriate services as required and ensure we are present when the work gets done

This gives our clients peace of mind and they feel safe in their own homes.

Today’s world is so full of wonderful technology … when it works.

But for many of our clients, it is just one more thing to make them feel inadequate.

We pride ourselves on not only setting things up for them but teaching them how to use the parts of it that matter to them.

We can:

👀 research and help purchase new devices such as mobile phones, tablets, TVs, etc.

📱 set up new devices and ensure necessary updates are installed

👩‍🏫 teach our clients how to use them

🛠️ troubleshoot them when they go wrong!

Our clients feel overwhelmed by the amount of paperwork that comes through the post and dealing with their life on-line.

We help them to overcome the overwhelm taking one thing at time. This usually involves:

📨 open and sort all of your post/email and paperwork

✍ help action anything that needs sorting

📂 create files and ensure important papers are kept in a way that you can find them when you need to

📞 liaise with accountants to prepare tax returns

📞 liaise with solicitors/will writers to ensure Lasting Power of Attorneys and/or wills are in place
