AD | A little extra matchday magic at Chesterfield FC with Compare the Market⚽️💙

We headed to Chesterfield FC v Tranmere Rovers this weekend and Compare the Market were bringing some extra Meerkat magic to the EFL matchday. ✨

This one felt especially poignant for us. Chesterfield is Kimi’s local team, while Tranmere was Grandad’s team, and having lost him just a week ago, it somehow felt like the most fitting match to be at. A little football tribute and our own way of saying goodbye. 💙

Before kick-off there were meet & greets with Aleksandr and Sergei , photo opportunities and free merch giveaways — which unsurprisingly went down very well with the kids!

Then at half-time it was time for half time pitch activation with lucky fans getting the chance to head onto the pitch, show off their best shot to hit Aleksandr off the cross bar and win 1k. ⚽️🏆

It’s these little extras that turn taking the kids to the football into a proper day out, with so much happening before the players have even kicked a ball.

Keep an eye out for Compare the Market bringing some Meerkat magic to EFL matchdays.

Madeira… if you know, you know! 🇵🇹☀️

After a full day of sightseeing, there was only one way the kids wanted to head back down from Monte… the famous Madeira toboggan! 😂

Honestly, what an experience. The kids absolutely LOVED it, we laughed the whole way down and my God — it goes a lot faster than you expect! 😳😂

Definitely one of those slightly crazy holiday moments we’ll all remember.

If you’re heading to Madeira with the kids, would you brave the toboggan? 👀

AD Our third time at Liverpool Indoor Funfair… and somehow it was even better this time! 🎡🎢✨

The kids absolutely LOVED it, but the star of the show had to be the HUGE 500ft inflatable assault course. 🙌

The Labyrinth Challenge is apparently the biggest indoor inflatable obstacle course of its kind in the world — and honestly, it’s brilliant. Climbing, bouncing, squeezing through obstacles and racing to the finish… obviously we had to go round more than once! 😂

Alongside it there are 28 rides and attractions, including the Waltzer, Miami, mini Ferris Wheel, Jets, funhouse, trampolines and the new Meteorite thrill ride.

One of the things we love about the Indoor Funfair is that your session lasts three hours and you can go on the rides again and again — which makes such a difference when you’ve got kids who immediately shout “AGAIN!” the second they get off. 😂

And there’s an extra reason to go this summer 👀
Everyone who visits Indoor Funfair will receive a code to return for just £10 before the end of the run on 24th August. 🎟️🙌

📍 Liverpool Experience Campus, Liverpool Waterfront
📅 Running until 24th August
🎟️ Pre-booked tickets from £13.99 including booking fee
🍔 Food stalls and prize games are available separately and aren’t included in the ticket price.

Definitely one to add to the summer holiday list if you’re looking for something fun to do with the kids in Liverpool. ❤️

Gifted - We’ve found such a brilliant way to spend a day in the summer holidays – Summer Club at Meadowhall!

The kids had an absolute blast. The pools and water slides were a huge hit and definitely one of their favourite parts of the day. Just a little tip – make sure you book your swimming slot online before you go so you don’t miss out.

Then there’s the fab beach area, which genuinely made it feel like a proper summer day out, with loads for the kids to get stuck into.

And the rides! We could have stayed there all day. The bumper cars, water balls and the big rollercoaster were massive hits with both of them and there was plenty to keep them entertained.

It’s all based at Meadowhall, so it’s really easy to get to whether you’re travelling by car, bus or train – and it makes such a good option when you’re looking for something different to do with the kids over the six-week holidays.

Definitely one to add to your summer holiday days-out list.
